I earned my bachelor's degree with honors in geology at California State University- Long Beach. While finishing my undergraduate degree, I completed an LPI summer internship at NASA Johnson Space Center with Dr. Elizabeth Rampe as my mentor. I continued to graduate school, where I joined Dr. Alicia Rutledge at Northern Arizona University. I am currently a PhD student in the Astronomy and Planetary Science department where my focus is on alteration mineralogy of glacial Mars analog sites.
